Science Topical Mastery Primary 3 is designed to provide learners with tools to guide them towards achieving the latest PSLE Assessment Objectives:
• Assessment Objective I (AO I): Knowledge with Understanding,
• Assessment Objective II (AO II): Application of Knowledge and Scientific Inquiry.
Each chapter consists of two main sections: Concept Notes and Key Practice.
- Concept Notes: Comprises Learning Outcomes, Key Terms and Key Points, and is primarily created to help learners refresh and consolidate the key knowledge for each chapter before moving on to the Key Practice section.
- Key Practice: Focuses on exposing learners to the type of Multiple-Choice Questions and Open-Ended Questions that would guide them towards achieving the latest PSLE Assessment Objectives.
To familiarise learners with the format of the actual examination and be exam-ready, there are two mock exams towards the end of the book. Student Model Answers are found at the back of the book as a form of feedback for self-assessment, which is key to building learners’ confidence.
