iKnowledge (For Ages 8+)

Encouraging Curiosity through Discovery

How do we get young learners to read more widely and connect with the world around them? The iKnowledge Series was created to support this.

Designed for inquisitive students aged 8 and up, iKnowledge is a full-colour newspaper that introduces children to current affairs and real-world issues in an age-appropriate and engaging way. Each year, one main theme is chosen, and every issue explores this theme through related sub-topics, helping students build their knowledge base and critical thinking skills step-by-step.

By blending fiction and non-fiction articles with activities such as quizzes, thinking questions, and even digital extensions, iKnowledge diversifies students’ reading experiences while building critical literacy skills.

Learning Outcomes for Students

With each issue, students will:

✓ Gain awareness of current affairs through age-appropriate articles

✓ Strengthen critical thinking skills and comprehension with embedded discussion prompts

✓ Expand vocabulary and general knowledge across diverse topics

✓ Develop literacy through quizzes, games, and digital extensions
