iThink (For Ages 14+)
Guiding Students to Think Beyond Boundaries
Preparing final-year students for national examinations while also teaching them to think critically and write with depth is never easy. At this stage, students are not just preparing for a national exam, they are preparing to step into a new milestone.
iThink is developed by a team of former MOE-trained teachers and led by a former English Head of Department to support this transition. Designed for students aged 14 and up, iThink blends exam-style practice and model essays with real-world themes, giving teachers ready-to-use resources that raise performance and build meaningful lifelong skills.
Every issue features a relevant main theme that expands into multiple sub-themes so that students can learn in context. Students will be equipped with lasting skills to tackle the road ahead, while also balanced with strategies to approach their English national examinations confidently.
Learning Outcomes for Students
With each issue, students will:
✓ Master writing essays across multiple writing styles: argumentative, descriptive, expository, reflective/personal response, hybrid, personal recount, and situational writing✓ Strengthen exam readiness through completing scaffolded worksheets covering content such as essay writing, comprehension, listening and oral practice
✓ Build critical thinking through making real-life connections across varied contexts
✓ Improve oral fluency and listening skills with audio resources and guided activities
✓ Stay engaged through multimedia features that bring variety to learning
