Suitable for students aged 16 and above – from higher-ability upper secondary learners to junior college students and beyond – iCritic is led by a former English Head of Department, designed to support success in A-Level General Paper, IB, and other pre-university English assessments.
At this level, students are not just writing essays, they are learning to engage with the larger society. iCritic blends thought-provoking essay-articles with academic writing to challenge advanced learners, sharpening their ability to analyse, argue, and respond thoughtfully to complex issues.
Every article is anchored by a visual stimulus which aids memory of complex ideas. These articles are also accompanied by digital notes and supplementary resources to scaffold essay responses.
