Latihan Kefahaman Subjektif Menengah 4 has been developed to support students in strengthening their comprehension skills and approaching the O-Level Malay Language examination with greater confidence. In particular, many students recognise the need to refine the way they respond to subjective comprehension questions in Section C, especially given the importance of the comprehension component within the examination.
This book seeks to consolidate the values, thinking concepts and language functions that students have encountered progressively in the Malay Language classroom since Secondary 1. The exercises incorporate a range of language and comprehension skills aligned with the G3 Malay Language syllabus, including code-switching, the interpretation of explicit and implied meanings, and selected linguistic features of the Malay language.
For educators, the book is accompanied by a teacher’s guide as well as vocabulary lists featuring definitions and example sentences. These resources are intended to support classroom instruction, enrich students’ vocabulary, and provide useful scaffolds for discussion, explanation and further exploration of the texts.
