GLOTTER KIDS introducing children to the humanities & world affairs through specially curated kits.
When we look at works of art, how do we feel about them? Why can different people hold different opinions about the same work? Art is a communicative medium and also subjective in nature. This box helps children learn about subjectivity, how an artist expresses his or her feelings and thoughts through a work of art, and how they can do the same. It also teaches children the value of creativity and perspective. To apply the newly learnt knowledge, children explore an ancient art technique called suminagashi, or Japanese marbling, with which they can produce their own unique pieces of art.
